This club has two outstanding eighteen hole courses The club annually hosts the National Pro AM The Bear Course has many trees coming into play and the Bobcat Course has water hazards coming into play on fourteen holes The signature hole on the Bear Course is 14 a 503 yard par 5 requiring a tee shot up a narrow fairway with out of bounds stakes lining on one side of the fairway and a lake on the other then an approach shot to an undulating green that is well bunkered Lewis added the back nine to the Bear Course in 1986 and Gene Bates redesigned the Bobcat Course around 1990 For additional information call the pro shop at 941 481 5700 or visit the club online at www theforestcc com
